I ask because I had Right hemi colectomy 1982 and good remission up to 2004 when I woke middle of the night very short of breath and great urge to let out dark foul tasting vomit. No pain Fortuneately was on a rest day so no need to take any time off work. Recovered within 24 hours. Seven days later same thing. This time was due in early shift so had to call in and tell them what was happening so they could arrange cover. Once surgery opened I called out gp. They took two minutes to examine me and packed me off to hospital - no bowel sounds - stricture. Once food broke right down it was able to squease through narrowing but then next few meals were backing up causing further blockage. Pain did eventually come along with stomach cramps for which they put me on buscopan. but the pain was a long time coming and so I never associated the initial symptoms with Crohn's. Trip to docs may be in order for you, I am afraid
any breathlessness or vomitting? How are your poops, are they watery or pencil thin like?
