If we have lived in spiritual slothfulness for a long time we will most likely be convinced by our own excuses for them (eg "too busy", "too tired", "objections", "I cannot understand the Bible") that "seven men cannot render a reason" to convince us of our slothfulness (PRO 26:16). We need to repent of our sin and believe that however difficult it is to overcome our spiritual slothfulness, God's grace is sufficient for us (2 CO 12:9). Start today!
