The Spirit is the One who reveals God through Scripture. But only God can reveal Himself, as St. Paul has taught today. Only God knows the mind of God. The Spirit can only bring you to true faith if He is also true God.
So the Spirit points you to Christ, revealing the glory of the crucified Son of God. The Spirit shows you the Blood of God, shed for you. The Spirit flings open the gates of heaven for you by the forgiveness of sins won by Christ. You have free access to the Father in prayer, and eternal life and communion with Him.
