For Sale: Just found from a barn. A 1968 Orriginal Cougar XR7-G. The car has no engine or tranny, but the car is the real thing and has all the orriginal XR7-G specific parts. It has the orriginal 3 horn settup, it has the factory hood pins, it has the orriginal front valance with the orriginal Lucas Fog Lights, it has the XR7-G badge on the grill, it has the orriginal power moon roof/sun roof, it has the orriginal 6,000 rpm tach, it has the console with the clock, it has the leather interior, it has the 4 switches in the center dash, it has the mini overhead map light console with the 4 idiot lights, it has the 4 extra gauges in the dash, it has the real wood shifter handle with the cougar, it has the XR7-G insignia on the passenger dash, it has 5 styled steel wheels, it has the XR7-G roof badges on the vinyl top, it has the XR7-G trunk badge, it has the XR7-G rear exaust valance, crome trim half circles and the exaust trumpets specific to this car, it has the finned aluminum valve covers that spell out cougar and the running cats from the orriginal engine, it also has the orriginal intake and air breather, it also has the XR7-G bullet shaped racing mirror from Europe and it has the XR7-G fiberglass hood scoop that is identical to the GT-E hood scoop as both cars recieved these from the same plant that built 1968 through 1970 Shelby Mustangs.
