And, once again I have a recipe, an easy one. This one I used to make.
You'll need as many packets of Ramen soup mix as you can eat.
For the whole family, I used a pack of ground meat, you can use less for one or two people.
Some diced onion.
Frozen Peas.
Water.
Break the block/s of dry ramen noodles into 4 pieces. I also broke them the other way once. Put them into a bowl until needed.
Meanwhile, saute the onion in a skillet, add ground meat with part of one of the flavor packets from the ramen. Cook until the meat's cooked to your preference.
Add water to cook the noodles, depending on how many packets you are cooking. You aren't making soup so don't over-do it.
Add the rest of the flavor packet to the water. Taste the water, do you need a little more seasoning packet?
Add in the broken up noodles and stir them around as they soften.
When they are nearly done, add a handful of frozen peas and taste the noodles. Add more seasoning packets, if needed.
When the noodles are done, and the water's nearly gone...because this is a one skillet dish, not a soup, eat immediately.
This is good with buttered bread, salad, or a side vegetable.
Note, if you are cooking it, and there's not enough water to cook the noodles, add a little more, in increments, so that you don't end up with too much.
Note, you pretty much will want to stir this most of the time, and not walk away from it.
