Mint-chocolate anything is great by me!
The pot pies and sausage-egg muffins sound like good, easy meals. I'd love to have pre-made meals like that again! :-)
I'm glad that you got your brioche, as well as cheeses.
I enjoy crackers. Dh doesn't care much, one way or the other, but I like them with cheese, peanut butter - depending on type of cracker, with fruit, or just plain. What can I say?
Egg rolls are one of my favorite foods, when I list my top 10, and I enjoy ginger ale any time.
I'm glad that you have plenty of food.
I just saw a meatball dish recipe, something like Swedish meatballs, the were made in a slow cooker. A family friend use to do that, and then she would put it on a buffet table on low, so that the food remained hot the whole time.
That's great about the taxes.
I'm not sure anymore. Ds said that he desperately needs to shop, though he says that in a snow storm they wouldn't starve. Be bored, perhaps, but not starve, though they are finally running out of staples. He needs rice, beans, tomato products, etc. He wanted to re-stock up, but his winter paycheck, while sufficient to pay bills and shop - probably, probably isn't sufficient to stock up this month.
But, as for me, I may just have to stick with a couple of things. I need meat, but... Mostly we have to get my water, and some onions - I am *never* low or out of onions, but am now, and perhaps a couple of veges. I never got my monthly money, even though it's not enough to cover needs to begin with. I need to write to my sister... But, enough of that...I did make one great meal last night with what I do have, which I will post on!
I hope that your eating week conts. to be good, and that you get everything that you ordered!
