Tell them what happened, usually the first person can fix it, if not call back and ask for another customer service rep.
I prefer to deal with bodies. Even so I had to call Amazon 4 or 5 times. The site shipping is Amazon LLC. There has been shipping trouble with them before.
My broth order is due to be delivered 9th or 10th. I did receive the 38$ credit for this unwanted duplicate order. IF, I ever get it. I am to keep it, donate it, give it away!
I have canceled the order 5 times. Nothing happens.
As for the delivery that was marked delivered before you received it....
Was it delivered by US Mail? Now, Post offices mark items delivered before they go out on their route to deliver. I had to call 3 or 4 times before that got figured out.
Amazon delivers via the post office especially if I order pantry items. Those can be tossed over my fence, left outside gate etc.
Things will not get any better I fear. I hope Biden can remove post office head idiot soon. He is working on it.

Chewy boxes are usually torn broken and items like bird seed ripped. Packers are stupid! Chewy has new shipping locations. My last order over $100. Was to arrive the 6th. Got it on 7th. Box trashed, luckily bird seed bag tiny tear. Last time got a free replacement.
Arrrrrgghhhh!!! The future is upon us.
