(This is the weekly post where you share your week of food. Did you have anything that really made your week, such as your favorite soup, a lunch out, or maybe you had something new? Find a new food product? A new appliance? Please do share!)
I made some easy, quick dishes, because of the water situation.
The dish that took the longest that I made, were waffles. They weren't bad. I had mine with raspberry.
I also prepped and finally cooked, 4 1/2 bunches of celery. They don't take nearly as long to cook, as they do to prep.
Since I can't get the jarred olives that I have loved having, I'm going to try 2 new brands, in 3 types. I hope that I can eat them, and that they are as good as the ones that I've been eating.
These are actually the only ones that I could find that I could even possibly eat. Many had vinegar, or were processed in facilities that also handled nuts, etc. Maybe I will be lucky, and they will be bother edible to me, and delicious!
Well, I am off to make a pudding. I have some of my popsicle molds here, and while I don't have my ice cream maker, I think that they will still be tasty when frozen. When put in the ice cream maker, it comes out tasting like Fudgesicles, as I know that I mentioned before. It's definitely warm weather now, it's 93 at the moment, so these will be welcome. And, when put in holders, it's portion control!
How was your food week?
