Those sound cute! My mom had some nice padded hangers, but I think that my sister must have thrown them away, as I never got them.
Yes, that's a long time. Water was a good idea.
Okay, I have to ask...what's a long John donut? I can picture long donuts, but have never heard one called that!
Oh, no! As someone who's been struggling with hypoglycemia this week, I sympathize. I can't imagine having gone anywhere the past few days, the way I've felt/reacted.
I'm glad that you stopped for food at that point, and had a Coke...though I can't imagine you *not* having stopped to eat when bs is that low!
Oh, my goodness! That turned out to be quite a long day! Yes, no wonder your bs dropped!
Yes indeed, it's the 2nd. I'd almost forgotten, with so much baby shower on my mind.
When Ds gets them to me in a little while, (he worked late. And, when he gets home, he has to make cupcakes for the small handful of Celiac's who will be there.) I have to put seeds (butterfly and hummingbird flower mix.) into 30 packets, then seal them on the back with a sticker that he printed out. It thanks people for attending the shower, and has the growing instructions on it.
Then, I put those, and baby feet soap, plus fruity Tootsie Rolls in bags, and seal those.
After that, I am making up the prize bags. Each one will have a bag of M&M's in it, and then some combination of the following: Tiny rubber duckie soaps, small tubes of lotion, emery boards, compact purse mirrors of various designs on the outside, finger/toe separators, and very pale, kind of reflective nail polishes. I chose a 'spa day' theme. There will be 4 items per bag, randomly packed. Then they have to be sealed.
Oh, and I have to write a poem for a game. Plus, write words on 30 cards.
So, my mind is definitely in baby shower mode until after tomorrow afternoon!
Enjoy your smudging!
