I can't remember the title of these books. There were a series of books about 2 older brothers & a younger adopted brother. It was some what like Tom Sawyer. The brothers were in a tug of war tournament with another town that always won & they hid spikes in the ground to help them win. In another one the youngest brother was being punished by having the silent treatment from his parents & he ran away from home. I think they were even made into a movie. Thanks!
