The roundy-round tracks here are going to a crate motor program and i think KPE thought he was gonna lose a bunch of business. Also, i believe the prospect of being "big time" also lured him away. The money probably couldn't be turned down. I can remember when Rick had virtually nothing but pulling customers (Jaskes, Walshes Nations, Holdorf, Leishner, Rick Austin and on and on). He built a lot of super stock FWD stuff too, as well as tractor stuff.
