Number 1- I wanted to make it a domain name website. not this long bull website address with angelfire. It was like $5 a month or somethin and they didn't want that.
Number 2- They didn't want anything on the message board that might hurt them. Gossip was a big factor, but hey that is what keeps these message boards going. You have to start up conversations about different things in order to have people come back to see it.
Number 3- Who is going to run it after I leave. Well I told them that you don't have to go to everythin to keep these going and this would be something good for someone who wants to get involved and will do a good job. There are lots of people who would be great to keep this going, but hey who said I was leaving anytime soon??? So I'll try it agin at another board meeting, but I dunno. Our president likes it a lot, but there are 10 other baord members to convince!!! The thing of it is, half of them don't know how to get on the internet, so I don't know what will happen.
