Maryville,TN (April 18,2008)- The Mountain Raceway Park and Fairgrounds is excited to welcome to the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League presented 'Tyler Bros. Farm Equipment & Eddie Allen of Cogdill Dodge' to the track for the first time in Mountain history with a double header weekend April 25-26th.
On Friday April 25th the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will kick off the double header weekend with a pit party allowing the fans to come down and meet the drivers and see these high horsepower trucks and tractors between 5-6pm est.. The full show of action packed,high horsepower pulling featuring three of it tops classes starting at 6:30pm est.. The Super Farm Tractor, Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks and the Pro Modified 4x4 trucks will be competing to see who can pull the sled down the Mountain Raceway fartherest down the 300 ft track.
Then on Saturday April 26th the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will return to the track for another night of action packed,high horsepower pulling. Once again they will be a pit party allowing the fans to mingle with the drivers to get autographs and view the trucks and tractors between 4-6pm est.. With the full show to begin at 6:30pm est. once again featuring 3 of the series top classes Super Farm Tractor, Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks and the Pro Modified 4x4 trucks.
With drivers coming form all over the region to compete for series points that go toward year end championship in the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League. There will be action at the Mountain Raceway Park and Fairgrounds like you have never seen before, with vehicles with over 1,000 horsepower see who can pull the sled down the Mountain Raceway. So we hope every one will join us in welcoming the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League to the Mountain Raceway.
Ticket prices for both days events are are $15 for adults, kids 6 & under are $5
The Mountain Raceway Park & Fairgrounds is located 6 miles south down 411 from the new Wal-Mart in Maryville on Brickmill Road
