Branch BG&R work for?

Hi, In the series there's a flag for the branch Big Guy and Rusty work for, and that General Thorton is a general in, I presume. But does anyone know exactly what it represents? Is it just for the BGY Commission? Or if not, part of what branch of the military is the commission? Bluepeter
