hello. if you dont have a tortion tool then you can get a small chain and a small floor or a bottle jack. take the bolts off of the cover once u lift the bar. u wrap the chain around the jack and then feed one end threw the 2nd hole above the bar from the back. that will lift the bar. the take the cover off. releas the jack slowly and make shur that the bar is off of the stop. pull the bar off and befor u do that mark the bar and the car . that will make shur that u lift. then once the bar is off take the splined bar out of the housing and mark it to. to lift it corectly u move the splinded bar one splin and the bar one as well. make shur that your axle tubes arnt touching the trany support that happend to me. if that happends u cant lift it higher. but if you dont understand what is said call me at 719-849-1691
