Unless your dead set on that motor You might look into a civic 2.0 si motor. You can get the complete bolt on kit with rebuilt motor (I mean complete-adapter, alt, water pump, belt, power steering pump, K&N, and sand pre filter, clutch pressure plate wiring harness and computer-no rad) for 6K and it turns about 200hp non turbo plus its a honda and it weighs 50 lbs more than a vw. Most guys bolt them straight to the trans with no other mounts.
