the car is a 70 irs. the bolt itself isnt the stop but the bolt when screwing it in goes through a sleeve which is the stop so the bolt isnt taking a direct hit from the plate. im not useing the shccks for lift i turned the torsion bar for that. but the stiffness is so much that all it wants to do is slam back down to the stop. the ride is good so i was just trying to attend to the loud banging that the spring plate hitting the stop makes.
