Work on my street bug while waiting for someone to drop a baja in my lap. Anyway, I've always had issues with the sync of the carbs (dual dellorto 48 DRLAs) and I've never been able to quite figure it out. I am running a center pull linkage and everything has to be just right or one carb will open before the other.
So last night I'm trying to get it together for the last time before I switch to hex bar and T1 cooling system when I notice something really odd. Once carb is closer to the firewall then the other. I'm not talking about a small gap either, it's about 1" or more. So I take everything apart and I swear I have two left sided manifolds.
Now there is supposed to be something stamped on the manifolds right? Like a "A" and a "B" or something? Well, I have two "A" manifolds and when I sit them side by side they are identical in every way.
