So this question is for all the experienced breeders out there? I was wondering if you have ever had a female get pregnant when she mated while still spotting? We weren't planning on breeding our female (Matilda) this heat cycle but an accident happened so quick and they got stuck together...I was thinking only one successful mate would probably mean a very small litter? But I really don't know b/c I have very little experience. Then my husband realized that Matilda is still spotting. So in y'alls experience have you ever had a female get pregnant while spotting? And if only stuck together once, what has been your experience with litter size, if any pups at all?? Thanks for the help.
