I have the opportunity to purchase a 1990 BMW 535i.I am buying it from a mechanic that I know through work. I am concerned that it has 200,000 miles on it. I am skilled in working on cars,never worked on a BMW before and I know that parts may be expensive.I am wondering if the mileage is too excessive and whether I will be able to do the majority of the work it may need in the future. He wants $2,000 for it. Please Help! Thank You!
