I have a '94 R80 RT with 66k miles on it. After about an hour in traffic the clutch mechanism starts to get very stiff and jerky and inspection shows that the actuating lever at the back of the gearbox is actually bending under the pressure. I have replaced the disk and pressure plate and lubed the splines and pivot points and replaced the cable. All seemed well for a couple of weeks 'till I took another long drive in traffic and the problem recurred. The clutch frees up and returns to normal once everything cools down. Any thoughts or suggestions anyone?
