Chrome Plating

I have an 1954 BMW in Cambodia and am in process of restoring. People here do not seem to have much confidence in the quality of the chrome plating available and advise me that better quality is available in Thailand. I have few parts that I want repaired and chromed. All steel. Does anyone have experience with having plating done in or around BKK? Any recommendations? Thanks
