Hello Mr. Williams:
2.1 Requirements
· Ownership may not be transferable with in the first 3 years
· Importer must have a permit to stay in Thailand no less than 1 year. The permit must be issued by the royal Thai police department. (There is unit in the police department, which is equivalent to Immigration and Naturalization Services in the US.)
· Importer must have working permit issued by the Labor and Social Security Department no less than 1 year.
· If your stay in Thailand is granted as being married to a Thai spouse, a married license is required.
· You must have the vehicle in your procession for at least 18 months prior to importing.
· Your driver license must show that you have been legally operating the vehicle for at least 18 months.
· Working permit
· Vehicle registration
· Driver license or International Driver license
· Married License (If you have a Thai spouse)
