However, the phrase in 002.282 is translated thus in my editions: "so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her." You are correct, the word "errs" can depict an error in thought process and not necessarily a deficit in memory, however the word "remind" speaks only of a deficiency in memory. You can only remind people of things they knew and forgot. So you need to work on the word "remind" to make your case.

I had already guessed you would make the argument that in Islamic society women are somehow disadvantaged in some areas which keeps them from performing well. To make your argument stick, perhaps you can tell me exactly how it is that financial transactions in the seventh century be too difficult for women to understand? We aren't exactly talking rocket science here just how many camels each son gets etc.
