Posted by Illuminati on 5/7/2005, 2:01 pm, in reply to "Re: More Miracles in Islam" Sahih Bukhari I'm sure you are aware there are a substantial number of these hadiths. If you as a Muslim are searching for truth, why do you make claims for your relgion which seem to be so easily disprovable? If I know about these hadiths I have difficulty believing the author of this propaganda tract is ignorant of them. Although you return to the Eve concept repeatedly, there is no evidence the Bible offers any advantage to men over women for salvation. Salvation is open to all believers, male and female equally.

1.
It is clear that the Quranic view of women is no different than that of men. They, both, are God's creatures whose sublime goal on earth is to worship their Lord, do righteous deeds, and avoid evil and they, both, will be assessed accordingly.
Once again the data doesn't support your conclusion. Exactly how do you explain this hadith?
Volume 4, Book 54, Number 464:
Narrated 'Imran bin Husain:
The Prophet said, "I looked at Paradise and found poor people forming the majority of its inhabitants; and I looked at Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women."
John 3:16-19
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
