In regards to women's performance on specific tasks there are three options: That the Koran was wrong is apparently recognized but not acknowledged by Muslims in their actual practice. One source of many incidents and sayings in Muhammad's life are attributed to aisha. It makes absolutely no sense to deny a woman's ability to remember the details of a contract and yet depend upon her memory for verbal sayings for much of your religious belief. Only in the logical warp of a submitter could this type of illogical behavior persist unchallenged. If Muhammad was wrong regarding women's verbal abilities then there is no reason to believe he is correct when in the same hadiths he claims to know the "bulk of residents in hell are women." Only a society which values head choppers above care givers and nurturers would women be debased in that manner. Unfortunately if the Muslim history is at all correct head choppers were indeed held in the highest esteem in early Islamic society. This brutality and irrationality persists unabated in Islamist ideology. The Wshabis have invested millions of dollars into producing slick propaganda tracts making false claims of scientific miracles in the Koran. Since they claim the Koran is dictated by God himself we should find no scientific errors in the Koran, yet they abound. Again and again the Koran reinforced by hadiths is shown to be completely wrong.

For those interested in the current scientific research regarding the differences between male and female brains there is an interesting article in the May 2005 issue of SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN pp 40-47.
1. there is no difference
2. the men perform better
3. the women perform better.
Standardized tests consistently show women outperform men on verbal tasks which is exactly where the Koran says women are deficient. Of the three options the Koran chose the exact opposite to that which modern science has demonstrated. This article finds that women's hippocampal gyri are proportionally larger than men's. That particular part of the brain enables the storage of facts involved with declarative memory which is exactly what Muhammad said was defective in women. Women also have more highly developed temporal lobes in regions dedicated to language processing and comprehension as well as the female auditory cortex which is necessary for verbal fluency.
