From Amir's post:
"If the Koran is true, and if it is inspired by the same God as Christianity and Judaism, then
it must agree with the Biblical doctrine regarding the Messiah."
Thats one way of looking at it.Another interpretation would be to accept the fact that the Bible has been altered hence there are some passages which are in conflict with the Quran.U believe that God inspired the whole Bible,i don t.
There seems to be a problem here. What you are admitting is that the Koran as you interpret it has an entirely different message than the message found in the Bible. If you are correct, than Mohammad's claim that he was a prophet after the order of the Biblical prophets is wrong. He was also wrong to claim that the Bible supported his prophetic gift. It is absurd to claim the Bible supports something which is diametrically opposed to its teachings.
I'm still wondering if your beliefs actually come from the Koran, or if they come from Islamic traditions outside of the Koran? For instance, it is difficult to see how your response is in accordance with the instructions in this verse.
029.046
YUSUFALI: And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)."
PICKTHAL: And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our Allah and your Allah is One, and unto Him we surrender.
SHAKIR: And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our Allah and your Allah is One, and to Him do we submit.
When I ask for you to agree that the Bible is God's word, you will not. You claim that it has been altered, which means that it is actually a malicious forgery by extremely evil people who have rejected God. How can your claim be squared with this passage in the Koran? It appears that Mohammad himself tells Muslims to acknowledge that they believe in that which has been "revealed to you (Christians), and our Allah and your Allah is One, and to Him do we submit?" Unless the people of the book is someone different from Christians, when you tell me that the Bible is a forgery, your claim doesn't fit with Mohammad's directive. Perhaps you might argue that Mohammad was speaking exclusively about the Jews here, but I really don’t find that argument convincing.

The holy spirit mentionne is the angel Gabielsent by Allah.
I checked all the verses in the Koran which discuss the Holy Spirit. I did not find any verse which supports your claim. This leaves me puzzled. If you believe that the Koran is inspired by God, then why do you feel the need to redefine the words in the Koran? Mohammad says that Muslims worship the same God as the Christians? If Christians are actually polytheists as you claim, then how can Mohammad’s statement possibly be true?
