What i quoted above was a claim from a christian.The fact however remain:there is a clear cut contradiction here.

No it doesn t but all this is to show that hibernation is possible from a scientific point of view.Freezing process is another method of hibernation.U claimed that all this was scientifically impossible.WHat the companions of the cave experienced was a somewhat similar process or otherwise a more superior one but the main point is that it is not in conflict with our understanding of science.

The fact that there are scientific facts in the QUran is itself a MIRACLE which then serves as a SIGN of its divine aspect for the believers.

THere is not a single verse in the Quran which is is hostility with established modern science.The strongest argument i found was about theory of evolution which is not supported by the Quran but even that has not been proved so it is still a hypothesis and hence we can t use it.

David Hume states:laws of nature do not, and are not meant to,account for or describe events with supernatural causes - but only those with natural causes.Once some event is assumed to have a supernatural cause it is, by that very fact, outside the scope of laws of nature altogether and so cannot violate them.
Where in the Quran do we have verses which violates the scientic laws?

Obviously it they were not related i would not have brought it up.If the Bible teaches that the earth is flat it cannot be of divine inspiration and hence its message also cannot be of divine inspiration, at least not wholly.One has to be blinded by faith to deny this fact.If we assume that God almighty is the one who inspired this verse then it doesn t make sense.If God almighty wanted to adress people at that time then why lie to them?Why lie to them that the earth was flat and further confuse them?Why couldn t God almighty just reveal the truth?
The truth that the earth was round.When people are ready to believe that heaven and hell exist ,it is not so hard to believe that the earth is round,is it?
Indeed people would believe God if he had revealed that the earth is spherical.
U see ,i cannot accept such blasphemous claims about God Almighty.I can t accept that God lied because if God knew the earth was round and still revealed it was flat ,then its a lie.

Thats a desperate attempt to deny the the truth.The language states whatever was revealed for it to state.If the language states the earth is flat then so it was revealed.What does it has to do with imperfection?If it is because of the imperfection of the language that the Bible states the earth is flat the the following question can be raised:the perfection of whom is questionned here?God?
The language itself is a medium for transfer of revelation.If the language states the earth is flat its not because its imperfect but because it was what was supposed to be revealed from God.From this very language words like "spherical" exists but another word was used and that is :"flat".
I don t mean to be offensive but how can u expect me or any muslim to follow the Bible in the light of such verses.While u still deny it,i can t because that would imply that God lied.Its way easier to accept that this is man made.Another explanation would be that God indeed revealed that the earth was round but for some mysterious reasons the author recorded the word Flat instead.But still this would imply that there are alteration in the Bible.
