Hibernation is not an established scientific fact as far as humans are concerned.This mainly because for a hypothesis to become a fact ,tests has to be done and currently our laws do not permit such tests on humans.Hibernation is not a scientific fact i agree as it is only a hypothesis.BUT this doesn t mean that is is scientifically innacurate.As i told u science is trying to use it for future prospects and hence there is nothing extravagant in it.As far as the companions of the caves is concerned they were helped by Almighty God and God didn t have to use a physical process to sustain them and in fact he could defy any scientific law to keep them alive but no,God decided to use a physical process which is scientifically possible.Indeed it was a sign from God for the generations to come.If science indeed disproved this process of hibernation then it would be something else.Every arguments i use is from scientifically establised facts and not from scientific hypothesis.I agree that science has not yet been able to make humans "hibernate" but as i said the one who helped the companions of the cave was not a human but Almighty God.

This doesn t mean however that it is scientifically accurate,does it?
And i could revert the question to u :is there any evidence that this has never happened before?

The same applies for Islam.The Quran contains many miracles apart from this particular one.

Again this doesn t disprove the fact that is is possible.Just bring me a scientifically established fact that hibernation is IMPOSSIBLE in humans and we won t talk of it anymore.

I am not trying to reduce miracles into scientific stories.Science doesn t believe in miracles so can u explain to me why scientists are trying to use hibernation on astronauts for example,if it is a miracle?

I never claimed that the Quran is a book of science.The scientific facts present in the Quran are signs for the believers.Neither did i try to use science to prove the Quran because i believe the Quran is above science.

The relationship betwen science and the Quran is one of the main reasons why so many people are accepting Islam.Dr Maurice Bucaille wrote a book about the Quran and the Bible in the light of science.Go read it and you'll know whther science support the Quran or not.As far as the Bible is concerned there are miracles in it but at the same time there are many facts which are scientifically unnaceptable.
Here's an interesting story from Chronicles:
The inhabitants of Jerusalem made his youngest son Ahaziah king as his successor; for the troops who came with the Arabs to the camp had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah son of Jehoram reigned as king of Judah. Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he began to reign; he reigned for one year in Jerusalem. [2 Chronicles 22:1-2a (NRSV)]
When his father died at the age of FORTY Ahaziah became the king at the age of FORTY TWO.
Now this is totally unnaceptable.How can a son be 2 years older than his father??
Even by a miracle it is not possible.Someone can be borned from a virgin mother but it is impossible for one to be 2 years older than his father.
The Quran on the other hand contains no such stories and is well in harmony with modern science.
