Why did God send his message to an illiterate man?
Allah never said that the prophet MUhammad was illiterate.Allah said that the Prophet Muhammad was not among those who read.
Does this mean he doesn t know how to read?
No it doesn t.
let me give an example.
Let s assume that u r someone who has a driving license and know how to drive but u don t drive because u have a personal driver.Now if someone were to invite u at their place and u would say:"i'm not among those who drive".This doesn t mean that u don t know how to drive.It means that u don t drive because u have a driver.If the prophet did not know how to read then when Jibrael told him to read,how did he read?
