"How can God be “MERCIFUL & COMPASSIONATE” and command the most merciless punishment on those who haven’t found Him yet?"
Your lord is certainly the most merciful and most compassionate whether u believe in him or not.H has infinite rights over u.Christians think that all those who do not believe in the Bible will go to hell.Yet they argue that God is a loving God.Muslims believe that God will put unbelievers in hell because they did not believe but however opinions differ as whether the punishment would be ever lasting or not.U refuse to obey God and yet u say :why should God punish me if i don t believe in him.
What makes u think ato that the believer with all his good deeds and belief in God is equal to u ,who is not only doesn t believe in God but talks nonsense about the creator and sustainer of the universe.Certainly u r not equal. That is why God punishes those who disbelieve to free them from their sins.
And depend upon The All-Alive Who does not die and glorify His praise and enough for Him An Expert with the sins of his people; Who created the Heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days then He sat firmly on The Throne; The Merciful - you'll find Him An Expert (without a rival)! And when it is said to them to prostrate to The Most-Merciful they say: And what is The Most-Merciful? Shall we prostrate to whom you (Muhammad) order us and it increases their rejection (of Truth).
Humans cannot see Allah which is in fact Allah's mercy on humans.
And when Moses (Mousa) came to Our meeting point and your God spoke to him he said: My God let me look at you. He said: You cannot see me but look towards the mountain (Sinai) and if you see it remaining firm in its place so you will see me. So when He (Allah) appeared to the mountain it pounded it (leveled flat) and Moses fell down thunderstruck*. And when he woke up he said: Glory to you! I have repented to you! And I am first of the faithful. He said: O Moses! I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My speech (with you) so take whatever I gave you and be from the thankful.
Matthew's Gospel: You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies . . . (Matthew 5:43-44).
Now, this passage indicates that it is a good thing to love one's enemies. It follows, then, that God, being infinitely good, must love His enemies too. But then, why would He punish them? Why, for example, would God torment some of His creatures day and night for ever and ever in a lake of burning sulphur if He loves them? (see Revelation 20:10)
Although God is full of loving kindness He does not love sinners who refuse to change. We know from the Qur'an that Allah does not like the following categories of people:
mischief makers
treacherous ingrates
proud people
prodigals
rejecters of God's message.
It presents, therefore, no difficulty in the mind of a Muslim if God punishes such people. On the other hand, it makes more sense that God will not treat the good and bad in the same manner. Therefore we must all try our best to do what pleases God, and seek His forgiveness for our failings.
"Why do you think Satan wouldn’t try to hide behind a ‘Mask of God’, to make his plan succeed?"
Because we believe and have trust in the one who has banned Satan.
U have no trouble accepting the existence of Satan and yet refuse to accept the existence of God??
How can our creator delight in so much destruction of his creation?
What destruction?
Why would God speak to Moses personally yet send Gabriel to tell Muhammed His most important message?
"And indeed, We gave Mûsa (Moses) the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers. And We gave 'Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear signs and supported him with Rûh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)]. Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some, you disbelieved and some, you killed." [The Noble Qur’ân, Chapter Al-Baqarah (no.2), Verse 87]
The spirit mentionned in the Bible is Gabriel.
The Book of Allah containing His Words revealed to the Trusted One on the Earth, Muhammad (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam - peace be upon him), through the medium of the Trusted One in the Heaven, Jibraa`eel (the Angel Gabriel). It was revealed piecemeal to the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam - peace be upon him) over a period of twenty-three years and some months.
If u were to analyse islamic history u would see that the angel Gabriel played a very important role in islam.
Now let this be clear that the prophet Moses was not superior to Muhammad9SAW) because he spoke directly to Allah.Even the prophet Muhammad spoke to Allah during the Miraj and furthermore note that the prophet Moses fell unconcious when Allah almighty send a ray of light because Moses(Peace be upon him) wanted to see him.The prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the other hand saw Allah and his eyes did not deviate.
Allah states that He has honored some Prophets to others. For instance, Allah said:
(And indeed, We have preferred some of the Prophets above others, and to Dawud We gave the Zabur (Psalms)) ﴿17:55﴾.
In the Ayah above, Allah said:
(Those Messengers! We preferred some of them to others; to some of them Allah spoke (directly)) meaning, Musa and Muhammad , and also Adam according to a Hadith recorded in Sahih Ibn Hibban from Abu Dharr.
