This is interesting, but highly fanciful. It is my understanding that as the sun depletes its fuel it will probably expand until its surface reaches the earth. At that time the earth will be incinerated. It is unnecessary to resort to fanciful ideas to get the earth burned up.
The question is what does physics have to to with the day of judgement? What is the point in trying to join physics and miracles?
