"There are two varieties of Zionism today. The first of these is the Zionist conception of the devout Jewish people, who wish to live in peace and security in Israel alongside Muslims, seeking peace and wishing to worship in the lands of their forefathers and engage in business. In that sense, Muslims support Zionism. We would fully back the devout Jewish people living in peace and security in their own lands, remembering Allah [God], worshiping in their synagogues and engaging in science and trade in their own land.
The Zionist belief held by a devout Jew and based on the Torah does not in any way conflict with the Qur’an. The Jews’ living in that region is indicated in the Qur’an, in which it is revealed that Allah [God] has settled the Children of Israel on it:
Remember when Moses said to his people, “My people! Remember Allah’s [God’s] blessing to you when He appointed prophets among you and appointed kings for you, and gave you what He had not given to anyone else in all the worlds! My people! Enter the Holy Land which Allah [God] has ordained for you. Do not turn back in your tracks and so become transformed into losers.” (Surat al-Ma’ida: 20-21)"
From my understanding of the Koran and the Hadiths, I believe your position regarding the right of the Jews to live in their homeland is reasonable. I also agree with you that, tragically, many of the Jewish people have lost their original faith. This is a deplorable situation, especially for the Jews who have lost their spiritual heritage. It is up to God to bring them back. Perhaps someday more Muslims will come to the same understanding you have achieved.
There was a time when I wondered if the Jews were intruders since they had been exiled many centuries ago. I now realize that many Israelis are Middle Eastern Jews who have been exiled from their homelands throughout the Middle East because of persecution by the local Muslims. Unfortunately, many Muslims don't share your attitude towards Jews living in their midst.
I'm not very familiar with the other prophecies you have discussed. I will probably look up the Dajjal and see what else I can find. The Bible mentions the anti-Christ, but is not very specific about this individual. My initial reaction to those discussions is caution since it is easy to misidentify an innocent individual as the Anti-Christ.
