I owned Darq Mirage as a teen and I have an article about his sire, Darq+++. But I'm having a difficult time finding any photos or information on him on any of the Arabian web sites. I thought he was the first stallion to be awarded legion of meret. At least that is what the newspaper article said. And he was in a comercail for Ford Mustangs back in the early 80's.I know he is a tripple National Champion and w/ earning the legion of Merit award,I would think there would be more written about him in the Arabian legands of famous stallions. if anyone has information on him and any pictures, I would greatly appreciate them. I know he had hard time producing color, but my horse had his conformation and attitude.Please correct me if I'm in error, but I think a horse with as many occomplishments as him ought to have some recognition. I think he earned it! Thank you for your help!
