Hi..wow...what a compliment..thank you! The only thing I drew until I was 18 was horses. When I decided to start my own business back in 1989...well...it was all local and local meant people wanting wildlife. Over the years doors have opened for me left and right and I've always had several irons in the fire. I teach chldren art in the summer..take orders for what ever people want custom artwork wise, and I am a professional monument etching artist too. Most of my work now is orders from the net from all over the US, Canada and Europe. I paint every day, at least 8 hours a day to keep up. I feel it's time to open myself to the horse portrait market..something that will relax me and take me back to what I really love to draw/paint. I'm trying to decide on an organization to donate a certian amount, for every horse portrait I sell. A Horse is such a precious, beautiful animal...I think only true horses lovers can feel how we do about them..drawn to them, amazed at their every movement and personalities. They just make me feel good inside and always have.
Yep..I paint black horses too =) Here's the link to my aol page..lots of my artwork there and Info. Also..my Ebay user ID is paintbrush1965.
Thanks again for your compliments!! ~Lori

: : Oh my God, this is absolutely georgeous. I
: have never seen it so detailed and defined,
: it was like you were looking directly into
: the horses eye when you drew it, and i can
: see his inner soul. i am in love with
: horses, expecially all black ones those are
: my favorite. I just can't stop looking at
: this picture, it's beautiful. You say you
: have never taken it to the market, so does
: that mean you are not selling the horse
: paintings? Not now but in the future I
: wouldn't second guess buying one. Have you
: painted any black horses?

: pursued the horse portrait market and I don't
: know why! I'm offering 8" x 10"
