As you leave the starting gate you go to your right around the first barrel (pass the barrel and circle around it), then straight across the ring to the barrel left of the start gate(circle from the right side of this barrel counterclockwise around the barrel) as you leave this barrel you will circle the barrel farthest from the start gate ( this is the last barrel and you will go again from the right hand side of the barrel counter clockwise) and as you clear the last barrel give your mare her head and head for the start gate (which is also the finish line).
