Welcome! I'm new to Aarquelle as well. I'm a former Ansteorran, trying to learn the ropes here in the Outlands. 
I'm into middle eastern dancing and trying to get back into archery. What are you interested in?
There are some nearby events coming up in Sept and Oct, hope you'll be able to make one.
I understand about being a newbie...I feel like one all over again. If you need help, just ask, there's tons of us who'd be happy to help you.
