Posted by Iranyar Reza Tank on November 9, 2002, 8:04:48 Nov. 8- (IranSportsPress)-- Today in the Irnaian Premier League, Esteghlal draws at home against Aboo-Moslem, while Sepahan goes to the top of the chart with a 2-0 win over Malavan. Sanate Naft and Foolad (Khuzestan) tied 2-2 in the Khuzestan derby. Aboo-Moslem did well to get a draw from Esteghlal. Aboo Moslem took the lead just 10 minutes into the game as Esteghlal's captain, Javad Zarincheh headed the ball into his own goal. But, HashemiNassab managed to equalize from the penalty spot in the 44th. Hashemi Nassab struck again in the 46th to give Esteghlal the lead. But Aboo Moslem would not give up, as GholamReza Enayati scored off of a header to tie the match up 2-2. Sepahan won over Malavan at home with both goals coming from the ever skillful, Mahmoud Karimi. Sepahan now has 10 points in 4 matches and tops the table. Sanate Naft drew with Foolad in Abadan, as the two Khuzestani teams battled a close match. Latif Janami and Davood Seyed Abassi scored for Sanate Naft, while Davood Dehghani scored both of Foolad (Khuzestan)'s goals.
