After the match the Arni players send flowers to the spectators and kissed the Iranian flag. In an interview made with Azerbaijani team player, the presentator asked, that in Iranian Azerbaijan the spectators called you Russians, because you spoke Russian together in the team, while your name is national team of republic of Azerbaijan. The Arani player answered: it is a bit painful as we also are Iranians and hope one day reunite with mainland Iran. he said he is not a political commentator but it's just the desire of most of Aranis.
