Posted by David Joelson So what would you guys tell today's AHS students if you had to do "career day"? I think I'd show a few clips from the movie "Trading Places" (surprisingly accurate) and talk about commodity trading. I miss these chats on our board, hope all is well with everybody and all the best for the holidays.

The other day we were talking about old TV commercials and for some reason it reminded me of "career day"...there were these two people who sang commercials, I guess demonstrating a career choice for the vocally gifted (but not too gifted?). I remember how strange it was that they sang about these products with such feeling. I also remember a hilarious presentation that day by the late Buddy Young, father of Jeff and Zollie and former NFL football player, who said he ran so fast because he was so scared of getting creamed by the defenders.
