Writing with Symbols 2000 is a good program for captioning text, but it is nowhere near as versatile as Boardmaker. With Boardmaker, you can make all kinds of symbol-based materials to support communication and all aspects of the curriculum. Having both program would be great, but if you can only choose one, go with Boardmaker! :-)
