Posted by pat Some of our SLPs have used this program with students (individual and in small groups) for brainstorming, classification, and compare/contrast activities. One SLP reported that a parent was so impressed by the study guide she and a student created that the parent came into school and used the SLP's computer to create more...and is now ordering a copy for use at home. We would love to know how other SLPs are using INSPIRATION and the new, younger version, KIDSPIRATION, with students on their caseloads. Please post your ideas here so we can all become more inspired! Thanks!

Our speech/language staff recently received training with INSPIRATION, a software program that can be used to create a wide variety of webs, graphic organizers, and outlines. The program allows you to import graphics (drawings or photos), plus provides extensive graphic libraries to illustrate your webs. A note-taking feature enables the user to list supporting detail, cite references, and add other information that would be helpful in turning the information "bullets" into a written report.
