The News2You weekly "newspaper" (www.news-2-you.com) that can be downloaded: It provides current event news in a simple format. It can be used for articulation, listening comprehension, social language skills, fluency practice, etc etc. The printed words are accomplanied by mayer-johnson symbols. I use it weekly as a classroom language lesson in a Life Skills class. It includes a recipe page, puzzle, and comprehension multiple choice questions. There's also optional premade language boards. The cost depends on single or group membership.
