I just recently completed my beta testing of RJ Cooper's Mini Auggie and it never crashed and the latest version is very stable. The speaker case it comes in shields the PDA from many bumps and drops (but not from edge on, direct bumps to the PDA screen), but it won't protect it from sand from the sand table or recess playground and it won't protect it from a dunk in the water table. It is a nice little unit that now costs $999, still lots cheaper than the ChatPC. Hope this helps. Nancy
