Posted by Marie I wanted to personally thank all of you that have kept Paul in your thoughts and prayers. The Navy was such a huge part of his life, and you all were a part of that. Growing up with him as my big brother, I always would laugh when he would say "I'm the toughest guy I know" But damn, if he isn't! This guy has been through so much the past 9 months and he has not lost his sense of humor, and allowed himself to get down. He has kept our spirits up. Just wanted to fill you in on the latest with Paul. His sister, Marie

Hi everyone. This is another one of Paul's sisters. I wanted to let anyone who is interested that it seems there is no more hope for Paul. The tumors keep getting bigger, and now a 3rd one has grown. The chemo and radiation have done nothing for him. He is in alot of pain now. He is in the hospital, they have him doped up on morphine, so he is not in pain, but he is sleeping alot, and will not respond to voice. We are hoping it is just the effects of the morphine. They are waiting to transfer him into Mass General in Boston.
