Were you on board Scamp when she was in Pearl? I have a picture of the ship that was tied up across the way from Scamp - that some of the Scamp crew were so good enough to swim over to in the dead of night - and PAINT a set of dolphins on the side of this ship !!
Over the dolphins was "BOHICA" - needless to say the skipper of that ship sent Capt. Branch a note. And the next morning at quarters I remember Capt. Branch asking "who did that?" .... of course no one ever volunteer any info. Neat picture and I couldn't believe I still had it.
