For his sake, he should take whatever offer they make. The game has passed him by and he knows he somehow got incredibly lucky this past spring to just make the tournament with that collection of misfit toys he assembled. On the flip side, EW has ZERO idea of the pain they are about to endure..

It would be surprising if he gets this position. EWU has been hiring very good up and comers who stay 3 or 4 years and then get plucked off by bigger schools. They've been successful doing that - I don't see why they would want someone with the exact opposite profile.
