concussion just before the start of a match, and not allowed to replace the player., then a leg cramp up something like 12-8, and one legged tag team lost by 2
incredible and excrutiating
almost a Willis Reed ending
sometimes losing is more rewarding and a better indication of character than winning
Add Mike Campbell who has taken women’s sand volleyball to the NCAA’s in 2023 and if an injury hadn’t occurred in the BWC tournament in 2022 would have also likely participated in a the NCAAs that year.
Also believe LBSU is the host school for sand volleyball NCAA’s in 2025 ?
The coach that shall not be named demanded instant success and his ego was too big to sit around and build a program. It's too bad that his current skill level is not at the same level as his ego. Actually with two 4th place finishes in the BW he was overpaid compared to the coaches routinely finishing above him..
I sure hope that the university does not step back now concerning the money spent on women's volleyball. LBSU is a volleyball school and should prioritize all three of the volleyball programs. Under Gimmilaro and now with the success of men's volleyball, the athletic department should realize that the community is behind the volleyball programs here at LBSU.
he who shall not be named was paid extremely well.
11th highest base pay in the country. Can pretty much guarantee (ok, my educated guess) that Reagan is at least 100k less (albeit hopefully with incentives). compared to where she was last year salary wise, my guess is she's pretty happy and incentivized this year. let's hope the interim is short lived and the team completes the journey that xxyyzz started.
