Here's the synopsis:
"In the aftermath of a season marked by underachievement, the prospects of the 49ers' 2017-18 season were complicated by an offseason exodus of five would-be returnees. The biggest loss was at point guard, where second team All-Big West pick Justin Bibbins left for Utah, and the last one was Evan Payne, who took summer classes to earn his diploma and turned pro. Coach Dan Monson hopes for better chemistry this season and welcomes back two prominent frontcourt pieces in 6'7" Temidayo Yussuf, a second team all-conference selection, and senior forward Gabe Levin, who scored double digits 12 times in 16 games before suffering a season ending knee fracture. The key will be replacing Bibbins, and that job could go to any of three talented newcomers: Deishaun Booker, a transfer from College of Southern Idaho; Ron Freeman, a 6'6" junior who began his career at Kansas State; and Edon Maxhuni, a skilled freshman from Finland."
