I don't think Burlison meant to say that he expected any blow outs to occur, but he said that if something got of hand it's easy to turn a 20pt loss to a 30pt loss with a couple of late 3's... you get the idea..
As far as an injury goes.. again, no expectations, but when you play against teams with players that are or could be physically superior sometimes things happen.. a knee, an ankle etc and then what was originally a good idea to "toughen" up the team has now backfired. Not to say the same injury wouldn't happen stepping off a curb... BUT...
